| Abstract: | This article analyzes the role of the European Union (EU), as compared with its Member States, in the formulation and implementation of policy on foreign direct investment (FDI) and multinational enterprises (MNEs). The purpose here is to identify policy problems in the current EU approach to FDI-related policy issues, and to evaluate critically EU policies in the context of recent developments within the EU and in its external relations. |
