| Abstract: | There's a new, increasingly prosperous middle class emerging in Central and Eastern Europe. But when it comes to selling to them, companies aren't sure who they are - or how to target them. Historically, most countries in the region have never had much of a middle class. The Czech republic was the one exception. It industrialized long before its neighbours, and developed a strong and politically powerful urban bourgeoisie early in the century. |
