| Abstract: | Both in managerial practice and in academic writing, the question of how to use the multinational corporation's (MNC) global network of resources more synergetically is receiving increasing attention. The reasons for this development include global macroeconomic power shifts, the maturing and increased competence of foreign subsidiaries of MNCs, the potential for combining different technologies, the prevalence of acquisitions as an expansion strategy , and a host of other factors. |
