| Abstract: | To bring about the economic growth of 8-9 percent during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period means that the weighted average speed of growth of investment, consumption, stockpiling and net export has to reach 8-9 percent. Now that the various factors show that the growth of consumption during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period will not exceed 8-9 percent, and it is not a good thing that the growth of stockpiling, investment and net export will exceed 8-9 percent, the growth of investment should at least reach 8-9%, which corresponds to the rate of investment of 35% (equal to that at the end of the Eighth Five-Year Plan period). |
