| Abstract: | This article examines the difference in the concept of the corporation and their possible implications for corporate performance, between Japan, the United States and Europe (Germany, UK and France). The Japanese concept is used as the standard against which the other models are compared. The analysis is focused on large publicly held corporations with widely diffused ownership. |
