| Abstract: | The usual approach is to evaluate CASE tools as a function of the tool's potential to improve the efficiency of the information systems development process. This article proposes a broader viewpoint, one that encompasses not only the efficiency of the design process, but the effectiveness of CASE tools as they impact the redesign of business work systems. |
