Abstract: | Using the Dynamic Trade Theory the above paper predicts possible modes for businesses - including third-country businesses producing in partner countries - to react to regional integration: by reacting actively to both the reductions of tariffs and the increase in competition, dynamic businesses are able to draw advantages from the expansion of markets, while more conservative businesses run the risk of losing these markets altogether. A business- orientated perspective can identify 1. The importance of the given changes in customers, competitors and suppliers in the new large common markets, which enjoy above-average growth in trade and investment for the competitive strategies of international firms. 2. The changes of strategies to reach the superior "dual business". |
