Abstract: | It's big, it's scary and it has whipsawed the Dow. But this shakeout does not mark the end of tech's leadership. For money manager Ben Williams, the technology stock melt-down began on September 20 at a Bear Stearns investment conference in New York. Williams and some buddies were in the foyer of the Grand Hyatt ballroom taking a break after lunch, when they noticed a waiter punching up stocks on a Bloomberg machine. |
