| Abstract: | China is now at the stage of realizing industrialization and high-speed economic growth. Its economic development presents the extensive feature of high-speed and low efficiency. So the crux of whether China's economy can take off and enter the period of sustainable development during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period and even in the coming 15 years or not lies in shifting the economic growth mode and raising the quality and economic returns. To this end, China should handle well the relationship between the national strength and development, pursue a macro policy toward stable growth, attach importance to agriculture, increase the sci-tech input and optimize the structures of industries and products. |
