| Abstract: | From 1979-1995, foreign direct investment in China had accumulated to USD 401.209 billion. The actually utilized foreign funds were USD 65.19 billion in 1984-1991 and 101.38 billion in 1992-1994, up 23% and 50% annually, respectively. The forms of the introduction of foreign funds are as follows: 1. the international indirect investment formed by means of purchasing foreign corporations' stocks and long-or medium term international credits, 2. the international direct investment formed by means of foreign investment, 3. the supplementary international investment formed by means of international leasing, compensation trade, and processing and assembling. This paper shows and analyzes the various forms of utilizing foreign investment in China and their profiles by detailed charts (tables) and statistical figures. |
