Abstract: | The surprising results of Fortune's 15th annual Corporate Reputations Survey are in, with plenty of movement among America's most renowned companies in the middle. What elevates companies above their peers is a lot of hard work. This year there emerge three other bedrock elements of success: the soundness of a company's financial structure, the caliber of it's management, and it's value to investors over the long term. Eight of the top ten companies in the survey excel in these key attributes, and Coca Cola, which repeats this year as America's most admired company, beats all comers in each. |
