| Abstract: | China's insurance market is the largest market which needs to be developed in the future in the world. Foreign insurance companies enjoy remarkable preferential treatment in tax burden, the scope of business and the use of funds compared with domestic insurance companies. Introducing foreign insurance companies has both provided chances and brought challenges. So the administrative organ should make the following policy adjustment: speeding up the construction of insurance supervision and management system, practising a progressive tactics towards market penetration, increasing domestic insurance institutions, reducing or cancelling the preferential treatment given to foreign insurance companies, employing the modes of joint venture or participating in share and opening China's capital market to the foreign life insurance companies. |
