| Abstract: | One information planning decision involves project selection from among a portfolio of options. This involves multiple steps, including selection and weighting of alternatives. Choice and weighting on criteria has become crucial in the selection of the projects to pursue. A survey conducted by the authors found that organizations with an expectation of future IS importance rely heavily on organizational goals, management support and environmental factors. |
