| Abstract: | The demand of the international market is picking up and prices are on the rehabilitation rise. The demand of the domestic market is increasing but prices are still fluctuating at the lower level. From January to June the aggregate sales of the society-wide production goods went up by 6.7 percent over the same period of last year. Increase in investment has stimulated the demand recovery of some intermediate and final products and indirectly promote the consumption growth of energy and raw materials. In the first half of the year, the growth rate of machine tools, refrigerators, automobiles, locomotives and others rose respectively by 8.5, 13.9, 46.2, 8.8 and 8.2 percent. The downward price trend is going on but in general, the falling price is gradually slowing down. |
