| Abstract: | This paper examines procedures associated with the pre-incorporation and post-incorporation phases of both equity international joint venture (EJIVs) and international acquisitions (IAs). The paper proposes which pre-incorporation and post-incorporation phase strategies are most applicable to EJIVs and which ones apply most to IAs. As an underlying foundation for the paper, generic differences between the EJIV and IA processes are examined. |
