Abstract:E-negotiations are processes that involve computer and communication technologies in one or more negotiation activities. They take advantage of computer power, the communication possibilities of the network, access to distributed data, and the fact that millions of people and businesses have to communicate and do business online. The first GDN special issue on electronic negotiations comprised five papers which presented the scope of e-negotiation research and applications, and the various problems in which e-negotiations can be applied. The second issue has compiled another set of five papers which add several interesting perspectives from an engineering point of view.
