| Abstract: | The notion of managing resources in partnership flourishes in natural resources literature. This paper examines terminology associated with co-operative environmental management. The term partnership, collaboration, and co-management are each defined and their use is explored. Similarities and differences among the three terms are synthesized. From these observations a multi-dimensional model of co-operative management in natural resources is proposed. |
