| Abstract: | This introduction discusses inventions and innovations. It is often argued that inadequate resourcing is an obstacle rather than an opportunity for innovation. However, the objective of this introduction is to reconcile the dual nature of boundaries. Five different types of boundaries, that can serve as an aid to innovation, are introduced and more intentional use of these boundaries is discussed. |
