| Abstract: | This paper examines case study research as used by researchers in tourism journals. 76 full articles were selected from four tourism journals for a content analysis. Results were reported for instance with respect to themes/ topics, authorship characteristics and research designs of case studies in tourism. Findings show that the case study methodology has been used to address a variety of subjects or issues in tourism. |
