Abstract:After the Bosnian war in 1992-1995 the Office of the High Representative was created in Bosnia and Herzegovina to steer the country's accession into the European Union under the Dayton Peace Agreement. This article discusses the discourses of Europe and Europeanization constructed and represented by the Office of the High Representative. The paper analyses the press releases published by the Office of the High Representative and the ways in which the press releases represent and promote Europeanization in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In conclusion the author states that the discourse in question attaches positive meanings to Europeanization, whereas Bosnia is represented negatively.
