Abstract:Profound knowledge of a human system leads to the discovery of new ways for correcting of redefining, and even for radically transforming the goals of the system. This explains why a sociologist working for an organisation can offer indications on strategy that are really useful to directors in managing complex situations. However, the sociologist must be in contact with someone in the organisation capable of understanding and willing to accept the approach. It is the task of the sociologist of organizations to help the manager recognize the human system in which he is captured, from a distance and thus enable him to take the opportunities.
