| Abstract: | The foundations for building a more scientific system for classifying business strategies are provided specifying the objectives and attributes that must be considered in developing such a system, by showing how two of the most popular generic strategy classification schemes are incomplete, and by constructing a new integrated scheme that overcomes their most serious limitations. 10 classification attributes are discussed. |
