Abstract:The increases in the economic integration of the various components of the region were brought about by the dynamic forces associated with the evolution of international comparative advantage within the region. Whether or not the Chinese economy can interact with the other economies in a positive manner and to their mutual benefit, in terms of enhancing each other's economic growth, depends on crucial conditions. The greater integration of the Chinese economy into the region is bound to make a significant impact on all the other economies in the region. As a result of her success in maintaining high economic growth and the open-door policy, China has become increasingly integrated with the other countries in the region.
