Abstract:It is obvious that the U.S. television productions are popular all over the world, e.g. Western Europe imports over 40 per cent of them. U.S. sell first of all drama and feature films - all at a low price level. The causes are analyzed in the study. Investigations how to protect domestic programming seem necessary.
