Abstract:Many quality of work life (QWL) efforts haven't reached their full potential for change because employees don't understand the ideas behind the plan. In this context, training plays two significant roles: to orient employees to the new mode of operation and to teach the new organizational philosophy. Training as a change variable is thoroughly examined. It is shown why and how the entire USA training culture must be altered. As a philosophy that emphasized human resources values of respect, growth and collaboration, QWL training seeks to incorporate techniques and strategies that teach the organizational vision. As any involvement-oriented training, it must borrow heavily from the subsystems congruence theory.
