| Abstract: | The traditional approach to estimating the statistical properties of elasticities has been to linearize the formula and then use classical statistical procedures. The present paper focuses on two new techniques: the bootstrap and the simulation techniques. Using two different data sets, we have found that the two methods are practically equivalent. |
