Abstract:The impact of ethical behaviour of managers on business success is examined. The advantages and drawbacks of aggressive corporate strategies and individual behaviour are discussed. The problems of an improperly conceived fighting spirit are demonstrated. It is shown that a sound ethical basis of corporate culture is beneficial in the long run. The superiority of openness and co-operative behaviour is explained. The tasks of a managerial team on the top are described. Arguments are presented that managers' primary task is to concentrate all efforts within the company on a common goal.
