| Abstract: | In the United States there are ever increasing number of incidents where an innocent bystander has been injured or even killed in a criminal action taking place in franchise premises. Who is liable for an unfortunate incident like this: the franchisor, the franchisee, or both? The purpose of this article is to discuss the dilemma which will hopefully lead to some solid recommendations for franchises. |
