| Abstract: | A multidimensional scaling reanalysis of the definition of inductive reasoning, using smallest space analysis, related to the conceptual differentiation, requiring rule inference and application. A definition of induction and deduction and the empirical evidence for induction versus deduction distinction. The Appendix gives a methodological note concerning multidimensional scaling versus factor analysis. A Figure illustrates the smallest space analysis. |
