| Abstract: | This paper deals with ecotourism patterns within Costa Rica and Kenya. These less developed countries (or LDCs) have acquired a high profile in this respect. If measured in some specified terms, ecotourism is a relatively minor activity. In general, the paper provides a more general context of definitional issues, a critique, and the place of ecotourism within the broader tourism setting. |
