| Abstract: | Many disciplines indicate sustainability as an object that is essential to the resolution of environmental degradation, but there is no agreement about what this term exactly means. Environmental problems are defined here as externalities, most of these occuring between different generations. The reasons why traditional solutions for externalities dot not work in the intergenerational context are analyzed. |
