| Abstract: | This article is a follow-up to the first article in the same issue and it presents the results of a case study conducted in railway station areas in London, Paris, and Amsterdam. The intensive and multiple use of space are examined and the environmental performance of each case is evaluated. Suggestions for improving the environmental performance of urban plans are made. |
