| Abstract: | The article deals with a problem of matrix management. It is suggested that matrix management is necessary because high-technology companies need to be structured in financial departments. The main conclusions of the analysis are the following. The power to make project management effective in a matrix environment lies with the financial director. The major principle of the effective management is that authority should be vested along with responsibility in the delegation process. |
