| Abstract: | Using foreign direct investment to change the domestic industrial structure can be considered as a method of changing the reserve structure and the increment structure of the existing industries by means of borrowing functional capital. Therefore the effect of the foreign direct investment on Ch- ina's capital formation, exports and technical absorption should not be underestimated. Its effect on industrial integration has a greater meaning than the value of the direct investment itself. But at present the scale of foreign capital is not large enough to satisfy the need. Raising a strategy of "development pole', the author chooses from among the present policies of foreign direct investment one that will have the best effect on the adjustment of China's industrial structure. |
