| Abstract: | An analysis of hotel purchase transactions found that a reasonably firm estimate a hotel's market value can be made using operating ratios. The regression analysis examined such other factors as the region in which the hotel is located, whether the property is in a metropolitan area, its age, and the year of the property's sale. |
