| Abstract: | The author of this article was a war correspondent in the Vietnam War in the 1960s. Here he gives account of some of the people and events that impressed him most, together with a short analysis of these stories. He gives a broad background of issues related to news coverage of the Vietnam War with special respect to the process of constructing news and the war correspondent's emotional involvement. |
