Abstract: | Although the Internet is constantly changing, it has already become a major resource for business school faculty members. Dramatic improvements are occurring in the way educators get information and communicate with colleagues, administrators, and students. In particular, finance educators are finding it easier to access business information, financial databases, statistical tools, and network with colleagues having similar interests. The paper attempts to provide foundation for finance educators to understand the basic concepts of the Internet technology and possible ways for applying this versatile technology to their day-to-day projects and activities. The paper illustrates the applications of Internet technology to education specific areas such as teaching and research. Finance educators are encouraged to use the Internet technology to increase their effectiveness in various aspects of education. |
