Abstract:In today´s business there is a much to learn and teach, so it is important for managers to summarize much of the information, because it is important that busy executives can learn about important issues quickly. The ability to summarize is a main point in business survival. However only a few people know how to summarize well. This article examines the effectiveness of teaching first-year business students to abstract and summarize what they have read. The author´s also describe writing plan as a context for describing to teach students to summarize.
