Abstract:Maclagan has argued against the use of 'extreme' case material in ethics workshops on the grounds that it is not relevant to practicing managers. Maclagan acknowledges that the material was selected for its shock effect - to highlight the ethical dimension. The author defends his design that making things understandable does not imply irrelevance.
