| Abstract: | Russia has taken considerable steps of late to create the legal and institutional basis for the state regulation of natural monopolies. The RF Law "On Natural Monopolies" took effect in August 1995 and work has begun on the creation of regulatory bodies at the federal level. This article views the principal aspects of improving the regulation of natural monopolies and possible measures for reforming branches with natural-monopoly elements. |
