| Abstract: | A. To bring about the switch from the traditional planned economy to the socialist market economy, China has to find solutions to the following difficulties: reform of financial and investment systems and establishment of markets of elements of production; reduction and functional changes of governmental organs; reform of systems of labor, wage and social security; and innovation of the state-owned enterprise system. B. The extensive mode of economic growth is changed into an intensive one as soon as possible with markets as the basis and benefits as the standard. Methods include rational adjustment of economic structures. development of new products and technology, enhancement of management of enterprises. |
