| Abstract: | This paper reviews the economic achievements and the development of economic theory over the past twenty years. It mainly discusses several theoretical and practical issues concerning how to guide China to prosperity. These issues include China's being still in the primary stage of socialism, what socialism is and how to build it, reform towards marketization, the status, function and nature of the economy featuring diverse forms of ownership. |
