| Abstract: | The paper develops an interactive simulation model that links ecological and economic systems, and explores the dynamics of harvest patterns as they simultaneously affect natural and human capital. The model represents both single and multiple systems. The level of natural capital is influenced by interactions of natural capital growth and depletion, ecological fluctuations, harvest rules, and biological transfers from one ecosystem to another. |
