Abstract:There are some key differences between European and USA managers that could prove crucial for USA companies seeking to take advantages of the newly emerging opportunities in Europe. An analysis of these differences is given and a four-phased strategy for successful collaboration is provided. The strategy seeks to reconcile the differences in ways that produce effective change efforts. Management principles may be universal, but applications must vary - with the circumstances and the sensibilities.
