Abstract: | The study illustrates how the interaction between an employee's work-home segementation preference and the perceived segmentation provided by the workplace impacts work-home conflict, stress and job satisfaction. The study, which used polynomial regression and response surface methodology, suggests significant effects. By demonstrating asymmetric results of fit effects, the findings challenge previous research, which has typically favoured an integration of work and home in order to improve role conflict and stress. |
