Abstract:This study suggested and tested a model that connects moderation and mediation effects in order to understand how experienced available support affects employees' use of support mobilization to cope with change-related stress. Survey data were collected from 476 health professionals working in a large public hospital going through large-scale change and downsizing. Moderated path analyses showed evidence to propose that perceived available support have a moderated mediation role during dealing with change.
