Abstract:First the relationships between job- related affective reactions and experienced quality of life are examined The arguments presented encourage job stress researchers to focus on those job conditions which adversely affect quality of life. These potentially harmful working conditions are worthy of increased empirical attention. Some methodological suggestions for research in the job stress area are offered.
