Abstract: | As a term for the optimization of human performance, management considers its main task to coordinate group efforts in order to attain pre-set goals in the most efficient way. Coaching, however, is concerned with the human being in his or her totality. The skills and abilities of a coach are summarized. The behavioural rules for coaching are listed. A deep knowledge of behavioural science is an imperative. Three main parts in the work process of coaching are identified: stress reduction, training, implementation. Three forms of coaching are reviewed: Human Discovery Coaching, Individual Coaching, Standard Coaching. |
