Abstract:Organizational knowledge creation (OKC) is the process of making available and corroborating knowledge created by individual as well as clarifying and connecting it to an organization's knowledge system. The OKC theory has developed rapidly and been broadly diffused in management practice. This paper reviews the theory's key elements and identifies the evolving paths taken by academic work that uses theory as a point of departure. Areas for future research are also provided.
