Abstract: | Julian Orr has studied three themes; practices, practitioners and learning. Her heading is work and it is situated in geographic spaces and places. This article adresses three central concerns in organizational studies today. They are moves to (re)-ground theorizing in work practices, drawing on methods suitable for studying what it is that people in organizations actually do, developing practice-based understanding of organizational learning and attending to the settings in which those practices take place. |
